Holland News April 2021 21 03 29 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! Dutch architectural firm i29 designed a floating home on a disused canal in Amsterdam. The home is part of Schoonschip, a new floating village comprising 46 households in the northern part of the city which aims to create Europe’s most sustainable floating community.

Thailand News October 2019 19 10 11 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! Visitors to Thailand will surely want to check out the Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar, Thailand’s highest dining venue. Situated on the 76th and 77th floor of Thailand’s tallest building King Power Mahanakhon, the restaurant offers spectacular views of the Thai capital’s skyline and Chaopraya River. The interiors were designed by French architect Tristan Auer from Wilson Associates.

Tie-up contract with APSDA 20 12 21 UP ADF(NPO Aoyama Design Forum) recently signed a business tie-up contract with Asia Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA), a large interior design association in the Asia-Oceania region. This cooperation will encourage a nurture better understanding of their cultures and provide a higher quality of information about design than ever before. 【About APSDA】 Initially named "Asia-Pacific Space Designers Alliance," the group has been at the forefront of promoting the Interior Design profession and improving design standards throughout the region since its inception in 1987. On January 23, 2017, the association received official approval for APSDA registration from the Registry of Societies in Malaysia. The Association inspires to foster a better understanding of the different Asia Pacific regional cultures and promote the exchange of Interior Design information and knowledge between its members for the advancement of this field to benefit regional societies at large. Seoul News November 2020 20 11 16 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! “Mondrian Seoul Itaewon” opened in Seoul this summer as Mondrian’s first expansion into Asia. “Mondrian” is under the Accor group which develops hotels all around the world. Based on a playful hotel concept that incorporates local culture, Mondrian in Itaewon which is Seoul’s hottest area offers unique services such as a rooftop bar, a pool bar and executive lounge.

Thailand News August 2020 20 08 11 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! A sustainable private residence with lush green in Bangkok will be introduced to you. For being able to live privately while taking in nature in a megacity like Bangkok, 90% greening of the entire site was realized by equipping an individual ecosystem and adding pocket gardens in every corner of the house. In the lush green space, the modern exterior that combines white slender steel rods stands out.

CONNIE COCKTAIL LOUNGE | Stonehill Taylor 20 09 08 UP For a one-of-a kind bar experience, top New York architectural and interior design firm Stonehill Taylor has transformed a mid-century 116-foot Lockheed Constellation L-1649A Starliner aircraft into a nostalgic cocktail bar for the TWA Hotel. This specific Starliner model was originally built in 1958, and currently sits outdoors between the lobby and the airport’s modern Terminal 5.

ADF Participated in the SDGs for Regional Revitalization Public-Private Partnership Platform 21 02 15 UP The NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) has participated in the SDGs for Regional Revitalization Public-Private Partnership Platform established by the Cabinet Office with the aim of promoting efforts toward SDGs. The "SDGs for Regional Revitalization Public-Private Partnership Platform" aims to promote the domestic implementation of SDGs by the Cabinet Office. It is a platform established in 2018 as a place for public-private partnership. As of the end of January 2021, 4,558 organizations have participated it.

ADF Milano Salone Design Award 2021 Winners Announced 21 02 01 UP We are pleased to announce the winners for the ADF Milano Salone Design Award 2021. Takuto Ohta swept the Best Performance Award, followed by Boey Wang and Alexander Schul winning the Outstanding Performance Awards. Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding performances, and we are truly grateful for all the support we received for this award to be a success.

MIID REKA Awards 2020 Announces its Winners ADF Award Goes to “House 68” 21 04 12 UP Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) has been supporting MIID REKA Awards since 2018 hosted by The Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID). MIID has revealed its winners of the award 2020. At this year's MIID Awards, ADF Award has been founded as a new award category. The commemorable first winner was Wong Pei San from the Essential Design Integrated Sdn Bhd, who earned this award with her garden sanctuary house, "House 68" featuring astonishing floating stair cases.
