World Architecture Community Awards 44th Cycle Announces its Winners

World Architecture Community has announced the winners of WA Awards 10+5+X 44th Cycle in Architecture and Interior Design sections. WA Awards presents 43 different winning projects from 23 different countries with a fantastic mix of building types, spanning from France to Pakistan, Albania to Taiwan. ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) has continuously supported the award as one of the media partners.

Architecture/Realised category

In the Architecture/Realised category, Hérault Arnod Architectures' Espace Mayenne in France, Hollaway Studio's Benenden School in United Kingdom, TETRO Architecture's Café House in Brazil, Giancarlo Alhadeff's Sunstar Global Headquarters in Switzerland and The Pines Villa, Nathai Beach, Phang-Nga in Thailand, ZAV Architects' Aytam Carpet Weavers House in Iran are among the winners of the WA Awards 44th Cycle. These winning projects were selected by the Votes of Honorary Members and Winners in earlier cycles.

In the Architecture/Designed category, the winners of the 44th edition include UAD's Yellow Rice Wine Museum in Shendang, Sanjay Puri Architects' four projects: Quillion Club, Hill House, Miraj Village Resort and The Community Centre in India, Van Aelst I Nguyen & Partners' Long An Museum And Library in Vietnam, Yazgan Design Architecture's Asım Kibar OIZ Office in Turkey and Atelier4 Architecture's Branded Apartments in Albania. These winning projects were selected by the votes of honorary members and winners of previous cycles.

In the Architecture/Student category, winners of the 44th cycle of the WA Awards include Yang Fei's House M/Unfolded Nature in the United States, Shreya Gupta's A third Place - Jammu Habitat Center in India, Franklin Yemeli's SET HOPE, Rethinking makoko by design in Nigeria, Sajjad Navidi's Penguins Protection System in Antarctica, and Camila Dussan's Accumulated vestiges: temporal strata in Colombia. These winning projects were selected by the votes of honorary members and winners of previous cycles.

In the Interior Design/Realised category, Masahiro Yoshida's 2 projects Re: and Pignic Cafe Yoyogi Park by Masahiro Yoshida in Japan, the National Theater of Opera, Ballet and Popular Ensemble by Atelier4 Architecture in Albania and DARAZ HQ by Studio Neba in Nepal are among the winners of the 44th Cycle. These winning projects were selected by the votes of honorary members and winners of previous cycles.

The 45th Cycle of WA Awards is now open for submissions till 20 September 2023. Start to participate from the application website.
