ADF Art Gallery Project Vol.17 Shutaro Takatsu "As You Heart" Exhibition 22 10 03 UP ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) is pleased to present the 17th art exhibition "ADF Art Gallery Project" by artist Hidetaro Takatsu, from October 26th (Wednesday) to November 8th (Wednesday), 2022.

【Ending soon】 “ADF Design Award 2023” 22 09 26 UP ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) is calling for entries for the "ADF Design Award 2023" starting Monday, August 15, 2022. This year's theme of the award is "Design for Architecture". The total amount of prizes will be 20,000 US dollars for the Best Performance Award, 10,000 US dollars for the Excellence Award per category, and 1,000 US dollars for the Encouragement Award per category, with an award for each category, making the total amount of prizes 100,000 US dollars. The applications are closed. Thank you for your submission.

Knowledge of Design Week (KODW) 2022 22 08 29 UP Knowledge of Design Week (KODW), an annual event organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), will be held from August 22 to October 28, 2022, with eight public workshops and master classes. ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) is supporting the event again this year as a media partner of KODW 2022.

WA Awards 41st Cycle is Open For Entries 22 06 06 UP World Architecture Community has opened the WA Awards 10+5+X 41st Cycle to accept innovative projects from around the world, judged by a distinguished jury that includes world-renowned architects, top academics and leading designers, as well as previous winners of the WA Awards and members of the World Architecture Community. ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) will support the WA Awards as a media partner.

〔Final Call!〕Singapore Design Week 2022 22 08 22 UP Singapore Design Week 2022 will be held from 16 to 25 September 2022, and NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) will again support Singapore Design Week (SDW) organised by the DesignSingapore Council as a media partner. Singapore Design Week 2022 will see a stellar line-up of designers and creatives across the three pillars of Design Futures, Design Marketplace and Design Impact. Our UNESCO Creative City of Design will come alive this September as Singapore Design Week (SDW) makes its much-anticipated return after a two-year hiatus to showcase the best of design from Singapore and beyond.

Design Educates Awards 2023 22 08 16 UP The Design Educates Awards (DEAwards), organized by the Laka Foundation (a non-profit, non-governmental organization), are accepting entries. Organized with the aim of sharing the best educational ideas and architectural designs with the world and promoting their activities, the Design Educates Awards recognize each time outstanding projects that respond to complex social and environmental issues and have educational value. NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) proudly supports the Design Educates Awards 2023 as a media partner.

The 5th Edition of Design China Beijing is officially launched 22 08 09 UP June 22, 2022, Design China Beijing, the fifth edition, was officially launched by the team of Design Shanghai. Unlike the previous editions, this year's Design China Beijing will present a Sustainable Design China Summit , with a brand-new approach. It will be held from September 26-28, 2022 at the China World Summit Wing Hotel in Beijing. ADF proudly supports the Design China Beijing as a media partner.

ADF Design Award 2023 will be held 22 07 26 UP NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) decided to hold its annual international design award again this year under the new name of "ADF Design Award" to make it more global.

"ADF Design Award 2023" Theme for Entries Decided 22 08 02 UP The 13th annual "ADF Design Award 2023" application guidelines have been finalized. The theme for this year's call for entries is "Design for Architecture". The mission of this award is to discover, evaluate, and communicate the latest and top-notch architectural works from around the world. See "Details" for more information.

"ADF Design Award 2023" total amount of prizes determined 22 08 09 UP ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) determined the total amount of prizes for the "ADF Design Award 2023". This year's award theme has been changed to "Design for Architecture," and entries will be accepted in five categories from August 15 to December 30, 2022. The entry categories are 1. Hospitality, 2. Commercial & Office, 3. Education & Sports, 4. Cultural Buildings, and 5. Public Buildings.

China News August 2020 20 08 03 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! In May 2020, the US-based eco-luxury hotel “1 Hotel” opened in Haitang Bay, China. FARM, a Singapore design studio that was responsible for the interior design, was inspired by Sanya’s beautiful nature of green hills, sandy beaches and sparkling waters and incorporated local lave tone and red cedar, reclaimed timber and steel from old fishing boats into the interior. While possessing eco-conscious, the textures, diversity and spirit of the island are expressed in space.

Milano News July 2019 19 07 19 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! The report features two new retail stores opened recently. One is ALBANO, a leading Italian footwear company's boutique which opened in Corso Buenos Aires. The second is a renowned luggage brand RIMOWA's new boutique opened at number 8 via Sant’Andrea, one of the most famous and loved luxury streets in Milan.

Thailand News August 2019 19 07 19 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! The report features Thai restaurant ‘Spirit by Jim Thompson’, situated in a lush tropical garden in Bangkok. The restaurant’s furnishings are all custom-made and make use of the famous Jim Thompson Thai silk, most evident in the beautiful pivoting panels which divide the spaces.

Milano News Deceｍber 2018 18 12 20 UP We have received a report supporting by GARDE! In this month’s Milan trend report, we will introduce you a Portuguese brand “Parfois”. It has opened its 38th store on the Italian territory. Also, the popular Japanese restaurant “SAGAMI” will be introduced to you. This company plans to open another 5 shops in Italy.These two brands aim to develop their stores worldwide and to further expansion.

Thailand News September 2019 19 09 11 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! The report features newly opened Rosewood Bangkok hotel. Set in two connecting high-rise structures, the design is inspired by the graceful hand movement of the "wai"- the Thai gesture of greeting and welcome.
