"ADF Design Award 2023" Theme for Entries Decided 22 08 02 UP The 13th annual "ADF Design Award 2023" application guidelines have been finalized. The theme for this year's call for entries is "Design for Architecture". The mission of this award is to discover, evaluate, and communicate the latest and top-notch architectural works from around the world. See "Details" for more information.

"ADF Design Award 2023" total amount of prizes determined 22 08 09 UP ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) determined the total amount of prizes for the "ADF Design Award 2023". This year's award theme has been changed to "Design for Architecture," and entries will be accepted in five categories from August 15 to December 30, 2022. The entry categories are 1. Hospitality, 2. Commercial & Office, 3. Education & Sports, 4. Cultural Buildings, and 5. Public Buildings.

Call for Entries! Architizer A+Awards 2021 Architect / Architecture 21 03 09 UP Architizer, the world’s largest online platform for architecture, announces the official opening of the 9th Annual Architizer A+Awards, emphasizing architecture’s role in a changing world. The Architizer A+Awards is the world’s largest and most democratic architectural awards program and honors the year’s best buildings and spaces from around the globe. The A+Awards are judged by Architizer’s 250+ jury academy featuring prestigious members of the architecture and design community, as well as luminaries from the art, technology, fashion, media, business, and real estate industries. In collaboration with its official partners, Phaidon, AIA New York, and Aesthetica Magazine, the 2020 A+Awards received over 400,000 public votes on 5,000+ entries from over 100 countries worldwide. ADF proudly supports the A+Awards as one of the media partners.

Thailand News June 2020 20 06 03 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! The luxury hotel group Aman has launched a new retail concept at Amanpuri resort in Phuket, the very first property the brand opened 32 years ago. Designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates, the Retail Pavilion is characterized by steeply pitched roofs, in keeping with Amanpuri’s main design inspiration - the ancient Thai capital of Ayutthaya.

China News August 2020 20 08 03 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! In May 2020, the US-based eco-luxury hotel “1 Hotel” opened in Haitang Bay, China. FARM, a Singapore design studio that was responsible for the interior design, was inspired by Sanya’s beautiful nature of green hills, sandy beaches and sparkling waters and incorporated local lave tone and red cedar, reclaimed timber and steel from old fishing boats into the interior. While possessing eco-conscious, the textures, diversity and spirit of the island are expressed in space.

Milano News July 2019 19 07 19 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! The report features two new retail stores opened recently. One is ALBANO, a leading Italian footwear company's boutique which opened in Corso Buenos Aires. The second is a renowned luggage brand RIMOWA's new boutique opened at number 8 via Sant’Andrea, one of the most famous and loved luxury streets in Milan.

Thailand News August 2019 19 07 19 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! The report features Thai restaurant ‘Spirit by Jim Thompson’, situated in a lush tropical garden in Bangkok. The restaurant’s furnishings are all custom-made and make use of the famous Jim Thompson Thai silk, most evident in the beautiful pivoting panels which divide the spaces.

Milano News Deceｍber 2018 18 12 20 UP We have received a report supporting by GARDE! In this month’s Milan trend report, we will introduce you a Portuguese brand “Parfois”. It has opened its 38th store on the Italian territory. Also, the popular Japanese restaurant “SAGAMI” will be introduced to you. This company plans to open another 5 shops in Italy.These two brands aim to develop their stores worldwide and to further expansion.

Thailand News September 2019 19 09 11 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! The report features newly opened Rosewood Bangkok hotel. Set in two connecting high-rise structures, the design is inspired by the graceful hand movement of the "wai"- the Thai gesture of greeting and welcome.

Thailand News October 2019 19 10 11 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! Visitors to Thailand will surely want to check out the Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar, Thailand’s highest dining venue. Situated on the 76th and 77th floor of Thailand’s tallest building King Power Mahanakhon, the restaurant offers spectacular views of the Thai capital’s skyline and Chaopraya River. The interiors were designed by French architect Tristan Auer from Wilson Associates.

Tie-up contract with APSDA 20 12 21 UP ADF(NPO Aoyama Design Forum) recently signed a business tie-up contract with Asia Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA), a large interior design association in the Asia-Oceania region. This cooperation will encourage a nurture better understanding of their cultures and provide a higher quality of information about design than ever before. 【About APSDA】 Initially named "Asia-Pacific Space Designers Alliance," the group has been at the forefront of promoting the Interior Design profession and improving design standards throughout the region since its inception in 1987. On January 23, 2017, the association received official approval for APSDA registration from the Registry of Societies in Malaysia. The Association inspires to foster a better understanding of the different Asia Pacific regional cultures and promote the exchange of Interior Design information and knowledge between its members for the advancement of this field to benefit regional societies at large. Thailand News August 2020 20 08 11 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! A sustainable private residence with lush green in Bangkok will be introduced to you. For being able to live privately while taking in nature in a megacity like Bangkok, 90% greening of the entire site was realized by equipping an individual ecosystem and adding pocket gardens in every corner of the house. In the lush green space, the modern exterior that combines white slender steel rods stands out.
