Thailand News October 2019 19 10 11 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! Visitors to Thailand will surely want to check out the Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar, Thailand’s highest dining venue. Situated on the 76th and 77th floor of Thailand’s tallest building King Power Mahanakhon, the restaurant offers spectacular views of the Thai capital’s skyline and Chaopraya River. The interiors were designed by French architect Tristan Auer from Wilson Associates.

Thailand News August 2020 20 08 11 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! A sustainable private residence with lush green in Bangkok will be introduced to you. For being able to live privately while taking in nature in a megacity like Bangkok, 90% greening of the entire site was realized by equipping an individual ecosystem and adding pocket gardens in every corner of the house. In the lush green space, the modern exterior that combines white slender steel rods stands out.

CONNIE COCKTAIL LOUNGE | Stonehill Taylor 20 09 08 UP For a one-of-a kind bar experience, top New York architectural and interior design firm Stonehill Taylor has transformed a mid-century 116-foot Lockheed Constellation L-1649A Starliner aircraft into a nostalgic cocktail bar for the TWA Hotel. This specific Starliner model was originally built in 1958, and currently sits outdoors between the lobby and the airport’s modern Terminal 5.

ADF Milano Salone Design Award 2021 Winners Announced 21 02 01 UP We are pleased to announce the winners for the ADF Milano Salone Design Award 2021. Takuto Ohta swept the Best Performance Award, followed by Boey Wang and Alexander Schul winning the Outstanding Performance Awards. Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding performances, and we are truly grateful for all the support we received for this award to be a success.

South Africa News June 2021 21 06 14 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! We would like to introduce the Kruger Shalati? The Train on the Bridge. A hotel inside converted 1950s train cars located on the top of the Selati Bridge and suspended over the Sabie River in South Africa’s Kruger National Park. The hotel comprises 31 rooms which provide guests unparalleled views of the Kruger National Park and the majestic Sabie River below.

Portugal News August 2022 22 08 16 UP We have received a new report supported by GARDE! W Hotel Algarve is the Marriott’s first foray into Portugal for the W brand.The entryway is hallmarked by a fluid, curved feature wall adorned with infinity mirrors and Portuguese handmade ceramic plates in ethereal greens and blues arranged in an abstract form, creating a mystical underwater feel the moment guests step through the doors.

World Architecture Community Awards 41st Cycle Winners Are Announced 22 08 23 UP World Architecture Community has announced the winners of WA Awards 10+5+X 41st Cycle in Architecture and Interior Design sections. WA Awards presents 43 different winning projects from 18 different countries with a fantastic mix of building types, spanning from China to Mexico, Spain to Austria. ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) has continuously supported the award as one of the media partners.

“Dezeen Awarads 2022” Longlist Revealed 22 08 16 UP Dezeen has announced the longlist projects in the architecture, interiors and design category. The longlist for Sustainability and media longlist have also announced, followed by the announcement of the Studio longlist to complete the overall longlist. The projects on the longlist were selected from more than 5,400 entries from 90 countries for the fifth edition of the award - a record-breaking number of entries honouring the world's best architecture, interiors and design, as well as the most outstanding work by studios and individuals. NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) proudly supports the awards again this year as a media partner.

ADF, Milan Architects Association, GARDE organize joint exhibition during the Milano Design Week 22 05 30 UP The international award program "ADF Milano Salone Design Award 2022", hosted by NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF), has decided to exhibit the winning work of Lisa Ogawa and Tomomi Kawashima at the Milano Design Week. The work to be exhibited has been awarded the "ADF Milano Salone Design Award 2022" for the best achievement.

Arch2O Photography Challenge 2022 Call For Entries 22 05 30 UP Arch2O Photography Challenge 2022 international competition is in the starting blocks and offers great prizes for the best winners. Submit your architectural photo that captures the sense of place. Deadline is July 30, 2022 for early bird entry and October 30, 2022 for regular entry.
