Scheduled for completion in 2021, the CASAMIRADOR Savassi residential building is located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and features bold architecture that stands out in the local landscape. The building, with 14 lofts and 24 studios, spans nine stories on a narrow lot with a width of 12.7 meters. The challenge of volumetric mathematics to maintain spacing was one of the factors that influenced non-obvious decisions and resulted in an architecture with its own identity.

The original single-family home was converted into a duplex in the 1990s. Kripper Studio focused on embracing the potential of the entire building and creating two reconfigured, modern, self-contained apartments within the architectural charm of a century-old Victorian home.

The "corridor space" designed by LUO Studio is located in a resort area in Jiangmen. The building was constructed on a wooden bridge as a "closed" corridor space, which is different from other bridges. The studio researches and designs wooden buildings using prefabricated structures of steel frames and wood, and uses natural materials in architecture. In addition, the studio works with a focus on making connections to traditional oriental wooden architecture, using local techniques. Architect and researcher Matteo Belfiore has written an article about the famous building, the Nakagin Capsule Tower. The Nakagin Capsule Tower Building was designed by renowned architect Kisho Kurokawa and completed in 1972. Although a conservation campaign for this building was underway, it was decided to demolish it. Along with this hotel, which is said to be a fascinating example of the retrofuturism proposed by Metabolism, the author also explains the concepts that have shaped Japanese architecture.
