“The Consul,” an invitation-only private members’ club located on the top floor of JLK Tower in Sukhumvit, Bangkok, was conceived by Terry Kim and is conceptually linked to “Yang Club,” the private club of Jackson Wang, who also serves as its creative director. Designed by Team Wang Design, the interior transforms from a restaurant by day into a supper club by night, creating a contemporary and dynamic environment. The layout unfolds as a sequence of spaces offering varying degrees of openness and privacy. At the heart of the design is a spacious dining hall that opens onto panoramic views of the city. Beyond the mezzanine-level bar, “Bar Won,” which overlooks the dining hall, a series of more intimate spaces unfolds, including members-only dining rooms, a cigar lounge, an investor salon, and “Yang Club,” an independent nightlife venue.

NEXTOPIA is a new retail and dining zone located on the 5th and 5A floors of Siam Paragon in Bangkok. Designed as an environmentally conscious, future-oriented space, it integrates retail, restaurants, and lifestyle brands into a single destination. At its center is the large-scale concept store ECOTOPIA, which showcases eco-friendly products alongside curated lifestyle and fashion brands. A diverse range of dining options?including international cuisine, local dishes, and health-conscious menus?creates a place where visitors can relax and spend time throughout the day. A spiral staircase provides direct access to EATELIER on the 4th floor, further expanding the mall’s dining experience. Led by Siam Piwat and developed in collaboration with more than 50 international partners, the project serves as a model for sustainable retail development and forms part of the mall’s largest renovation initiative.

Kino International, a landmark cinema representing former East Germany, has reopened after approximately two years of renovation. Its striking entrance hall, low ceilings, and elegant yet retro, club-like atmosphere evoke the excitement of an era when cinema reigned supreme as the king of entertainment. The renewed design has captured the attention not only of film enthusiasts but also of architecture aficionados. Meanwhile, Authentikka Winterhude, an Indian restaurant that won first place in the restaurant category at the Callwey Design Awards 2025, has also attracted attention for its distinctive interior design. Designed by the Berlin-based studio Studio Lineatur under the concept “Modern India Nostalgia,” the space features a sophisticated color palette that creates a comfortable atmosphere while expressing a unique interpretation of contemporary Indian aesthetics.

A plant-inspired kinetic sculpture titled Chorus Ventus has been installed as the centerpiece of the newly redeveloped Children’s Garden at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha, Nebraska. Created by the art and design studio NEON, the installation combines movement, sound, and landscape design to create an interactive landmark that can also be seen from nearby Interstate 80.
