Shenzhen Guangming International Equestrian Center by Tanghua ArchitectsThe Guangming International Equestrian Center is in the Guangming Subdistrict of Guangming District, Shenzhen. It serves as the main venue for dressage and show jumping events of the 15th National Games and is the only newly constructed venue for the Shenzhen section of the games. The project spans an area of 50,018 square meters, with a total construction area of 69,000 square meters. The facility boasts a main arena, an indoor training hall, an outdoor training field, event spaces, and stables that can house 200 horses. |

Apart from being a specialized French patisserie, the owner’s love for French bulldogs also comes as brand identity, portraying a playful yet elegant image to the cafe. The design aims to enhance this image together with the concept of ‘Kitsch’, a form of art that appreciates imperfection through architecture elements and materials, which refers to an imperfect shape of ‘croissant’. |

【ADF Web Magazine】Ethereal Presence at K3, Kukje Gallery in SeoulFounded in 1982 by Lee Hyun Sook, Kukje Gallery in Seoul, South Korea has established itself as a key promoter of Korean Dansaekhwa art and a platform for international contemporary artists like Alexander Calder and Jean-Michel Othoniel. The gallery's K3 building, designed by New York-based SO-IL, stands out with its ethereal architecture featuring a stainless steel chainmail mesh facade. This design, crafted with 510,000 individually welded rings, blends modern innovation with traditional craftsmanship, creating a smooth, light, and flexible outer layer that complements the gallery's surroundings near the Gyeongbokgung historic palace. The K3 building, completed in 2012, reflects Kukje Gallery's commitment to architectural excellence and its role in integrating contemporary art into Seoul's rich cultural landscape. |
