Design Shanghai 2020

"Design Shanghai" will be held from November 26th to 29th, 2020. ADF proudly supports "Design Shanghai" as a media partner this year as well. In just six years, it has become one of the biggest design shows in the world. It is comfortably the most significant international design show in Asia, and in 2020 the event will move into a new purpose-built global exhibition space to allow this growth and development to continue.

Last year the event attracted over 70,000 visitors from 70+ countries. China and Asia are one of the fastest-growing markets for the design and creative sectors globally, and "Design Shanghai" is the leading platform for the industry in Asia to meet. The year-on-year increases in international visitors and exhibitors to "Design Shanghai" have reinforced the importance of China as a significant design hub, and the event needs to be robust enough to fulfill this continued demand. To maximize the current opportunities, the decision has been taken to relocate the show to a world-class, modern international exhibition facility, so from 2020, "Design Shanghai" will be held at the World Expo Centre.

Showcasing the best design brands and galleries from across the globe, "Design Shanghai" provides a unique and exciting platform to network, exchange, and establish long-term business relations with Asia’s top architects, interior designers, property developers, retailers, collectors, and private buyers. "Design Shanghai" aims to explore how eastern and western design philosophies can work together synergistically across the seven halls: Contemporary Design, Classic & Luxury Design, Kitchen & Bathroom Design, Workplace Design, Talents, Accessories & Objects, and New Materials & Applications.
