Kaohsiung, located in the southern part of Taiwan, is a port city that is said to be the second largest city in Taiwan. Kaohsiung once prospered as a major international port, but it has developed into a modern and cultural city with high-rise apartments. The site used to be a military base of approximately 100,000 square meters.
