ARCHIDEX 2026 INFO
Date: 29 July – 1 August 2026
Venue: Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur

The announcement follows the soft launch of ARCHIDEX 2026 held in January 2026, reaffirming Malaysia’s commitment to shaping smarter, more sustainable and future-ready cities. By bringing the entire exhibition under one roof at MITEC, the upcoming edition marks a significant milestone in ARCHIDEX’s evolution and its role in supporting regional industry growth.
A Milestone 25th Edition at Full Scale
Jointly organised by Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) and C.I.S, ARCHIDEX has grown alongside Malaysia’s architecture and construction industries for over two decades. The 2026 edition is expected to expand to approximately 37,000 square metres of exhibition space, with around 900 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, and a target of 40,000 visitors from Malaysia and abroad.
The full consolidation at MITEC enables clearer zoning, improved visitor experience and deeper engagement between exhibitors and buyers, reinforcing ARCHIDEX’s position as a results-driven marketplace for architecture, building technologies and design solutions in Asia.

Connecting Business, Ideas and Professional Leadership
Beyond its scale, ARCHIDEX continues to be anchored by strong professional discourse and design leadership. As a key pillar of the Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF), the event integrates business exchange with thought leadership through platforms such as the DATUM Conferences, Biz Talks and Focus Forums, the ARCHIDEX Star Awards, and ARCHITALENT initiatives supporting emerging design talent.
ARCHIDEX 2026 will further strengthen specialised thematic zones, including Digital @ ARCHIDEX, which highlights BIM, AI-driven design, smart buildings and PropTech solutions. Additional platforms will address hospitality design, workplace innovation and sustainable building technologies, reflecting global priorities around digitalisation, ESG standards and future-ready urban development.
Extending Impact Beyond the Exhibition Venue
In addition to the exhibition, ARCHIDEX 2026 will extend its presence into the city through the return of Kuala Lumpur Architecture Week (KLAW). This city-wide initiative activates key urban and heritage precincts through architecture, arts and cultural programmes, connecting industry delegates with the public while supporting tourism and the creative economy.
Looking Ahead to July 2026
As cities across Asia respond to climate challenges, rapid urbanisation and digital transformation, ARCHIDEX 2026 serves as a timely platform linking policy, practice and innovation. With its expanded scale, consolidated venue and city-based activations, the 25th edition underscores Malaysia’s ambition to remain a regional hub for architectural excellence and sustainable urban development.
