Berlin News March 2026

We have received a new report supported by GARDE!

The Alchemist, a popular high-end cocktail bar from the UK, has made its German debut at “The Playce” in Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz. Its dark, dramatic interior?featuring brass accents and cascading metal chain curtains?draws inspiration from the world of alchemy. Cocktails served in this theater-like setting taste even more exceptional.
Amid Berlin’s growing number of Japanese-inspired listening bars, “migas” offers an exceptional musical experience. Created by its Spanish owner, the space is defined by concrete and wood, revealing distinct expressions by day and night. Soundproof ceiling panels and partitioning shelves introduce a unique rhythm. Light reflecting off mirrors and the floor creates depth, and the shimmering effect feels almost musical.

We have received a new report supported by GARDE!

Dib Bangkok, Thailand’s first museum dedicated to international contemporary art, opened in December 2025. The museum was created through the renovation of a three-story warehouse originally built in the 1980s. The project was initiated by the late Phetch Osatanugra, a businessman and prominent art collector from the Osott Spa Group family, and is now led by his son, Prat Osatanugra. Focusing on contemporary art from the 1960s onward, the museum holds more than 1,000 works by over 200 artists, spanning painting, sculpture, photography, large-scale installations, and new media. Notable artists include Montien Boonma, Lee Bul, Anselm Kiefer, and Alicja Kwade. Designed by WHY Architecture, Dib Bangkok features a variety of exhibition spaces that make use of its industrial architecture, including the iconic conical gallery known as the “Chapel.”
