	We have received a new report supported by GARDE! Blue Elephant Gyeongju is a flagship store that combines the traditional Korean hanok with contemporary retail design. While preserving the brand¡Çs identity, the space naturally reflects the historic character of Gyeongju. The exterior retains as much as possible of the existing hanok¡Çs tiled roof and timber structure, while restrained ornamentation allows the building¡Çs inherent beauty to take center stage. Inside, the natural texture of wood is balanced with contemporary materials such as metal and mirrors, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. The Alexandre de Paris Seongsu flagship store brings the craftsmanship and elegant brand image cultivated by the French maison into the spatial experience. The exterior creates a refined and understated impression through discreet signage and high-quality materials, avoiding excessive branding. Inside, warm-toned wood and stone are complemented by metal details, creating a space that combines comfort with sophistication.

	What Koji Ochiai Left Behind: Tracing the Legacy of an Artist Shaped by a Turbulent Spain ADF (Aoyama Design Forum, NPO) will present Agua y Viento 1980s, a printmaking exhibition by Japanese artist Koji Ochiai, as the 49th edition of the ADF Art Gallery Project. The exhibition will be held at GARDE Gallery in Omotesando from Friday, October 9 through Wednesday, October 21, 2026. An opening reception will take place on Friday, October 9, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event is open to everyone, and visitors are warmly invited to attend. 	London Build 2026 Opens Registration for the UK¡Çs Largest Construction and Design Event
	London Build 2026, one of the UK's largest construction and design events, will take place at ExCeL London on November 25–26, 2026. Registration is now open for professionals across construction, architecture, engineering, real estate, sustainability, digital construction, fire safety and HVAC sectors. NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) will once again support the event as a media partner.

	Chicago Build 2026 will take place on October 28–29, 2026, at McCormick Place in Chicago. Ahead of the event, the official Show Preview is now available, offering a first look at the exhibitors, conference sessions and activities planned for the two-day show. Bringing together 350+ exhibitors and 450+ speakers, the event features nine conference tracks, AIA CES workshops, networking events and more. 	The Festival des Architectures Vives (FAV), an annual architecture festival held in Montpellier, France, has launched its open call for the 21st edition, taking place from June 15 to 20, 2027. Organized by Champ Libre Association, the festival invites emerging professionals in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and related disciplines to propose temporary architectural installations under the theme "Shared Happiness." The installations will be presented in the historic courtyards of Montpellier's private mansions. Applications are open until December 7, 2026.
