| ADF Art Gallery Project Vol.45 | Artist Takeshi Sumi "Rhythm wears Life" Workshop |
As a special event related to the ADF Art Gallery Project Vol.45 exhibition Rhythm wears Life, artist Takeshi Sumi will host two hands-on workshops.
Currently on view at GARDE Gallery, the exhibition presents works in which Sumi applies embroidery and delicate slit techniques to portrait photographs, transforming the fixed nature of photography into new expressions of beauty and interconnected life. During the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to experience the actual techniques used in his artistic practice while receiving guidance directly from the artist. This is a rare opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of his creative process and artistic vision.
Advance registration is required, and participation is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are welcome to bring their own photographic prints if they wish to apply embroidery or slit techniques to them. We look forward to welcoming you. |

| 【ADF Web Magazine】Baby Care Facilities |
| In her latest article, Von Chua, Chartered Architect and Founder, examines how baby care facilities reveal broader cultural attitudes toward hospitality, accessibility, and family-friendly design. Comparing dedicated nursing and changing suites in Japan and Taiwan with the integrated facilities commonly found in the UK, Europe, and the US, she explores how legislation, public policy, and design priorities shape the experiences of parents and caregivers. Von Chua argues that thoughtfully designed baby care spaces are more than practical amenities—they reflect a society's commitment to supporting families and creating welcoming public environments, offering valuable lessons for architects, developers, and policymakers worldwide. |

| 【ADF Web Magazine】A bespoke furniture series translating Alpine geology into sustainable computational design |
| London-based design and research studio Wedge has unveiled "Altum," a bespoke furniture collection created for Hotel Alpin in the Swiss Alpine village of Saas-Fee. Commissioned as part of the hotel's ongoing commitment to contemporary design and craftsmanship, the collection explores the relationship between geology, computational design, and circular manufacturing. Combining 3D-printed silica sand with hardwood and glass, each piece transforms the pressures, stratification, and erosion patterns of the surrounding Alpine landscape into functional furniture. |
