Artwork by Tsuyoshi Sumi Now Available for Purchase
In conjunction with ADF Art Gallery Project Vol.33 “concorde,” a selection of artworks by artist Tsuyoshi Sumi is now available for purchase.
Sumi’s unique approach involves delicate handwork applied to photographs—such as slits and embroidery—bringing invisible sensations and the theme of “harmony” between people and subjects into visual form.
His works go beyond sight to engage the viewer on a physical and emotional level.
In addition to photographic pieces, this exhibition features a wide range of techniques, all created through analog methods that reflect the artist’s physical presence and acceptance of chance.
For more information, please refer to the price list here.
*Access is limited to ADF members only. All works are available in limited quantities and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. For further details, please contact the address listed on the page. |

Korea News May 2025 |
We have received a new report supported by GARDE!
The MUSINSA 2025 Spring/Summer Season Preview was designed to evoke the feeling of a resort, bringing elements of nature into the heart of the city. It offers a quirky, sensory experience-like stumbling upon an oasis in a quiet desert. Visitors are invited to feel nature: stepping onto sand, hearing the gentle creak of trees outside, and inside, touching wood textures whose grains vary across the floors, structures, benches, and columns. In contrast, the seye clinic presents a minimalist design, composed of a simple hexahedron formed by clean, straight lines. To soften the clinic’s static, achromatic atmosphere, carefully curated visual imagery is introduced. These visuals not only create a more relaxed and approachable environment but also help maintain patient privacy by subtly directing attention to specific focal points. |

【ADF Web Magazine】Atelier Pierre Thibault and Residents of ile Verte Reinvent the Boucaneries |
On Île Verte, a small island in the Saint Lawrence River with just fifty permanent residents, a visionary architectural project has breathed new life into the island’s disappearing vernacular heritage. Spearheaded by Atelier Pierre Thibault, the initiative reinterprets the island’s boucaneries—old fish smokehouses—into conceptual installations that engage the community and explore sustainable future uses. Unveiled at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition at La Biennale di Venezia in 2025 for May 10 to November 23, the project is a profound response to climate challenges, cultural loss, and rural isolation. |
