	Arch2O Photography Challenge 2022 international competition is in the starting blocks and offers great prizes for the best winners. Submit your architectural photo that captures the sense of place. Deadline is July 30, 2022 for early bird entry and October 30, 2022 for regular entry. This year, Aoyama Design Forum will again support the competition as a media partner.

	The clients of this wood-frame townhouse, renovated and expanded by the architectural firm Barker Associates, wanted a home full of rich colors, patterns, textures and light, with Art Deco and Mid-Century accents and repurposed materials. The house was completely clad in western red cedar, with new windows, cornice and entry overhang. The cedar was left in its natural state to weather over time.
