DesignTech Hub | DesignTech for Future
"DesignTech for Future", a white paper for the world after COVID-19, was created by DesignTech Hub, which is attended by Zaha Hadid Architects, PwC and other global architecture and design firms and consulting firms.

With the pandemic, all critical issues and limits of the city have come to surface, DesignTech Hub suggests this is the right moment to give society a policy document for a new start, providing a series of new guidelines for social life, new models for the spaces we live in.

This white paper initiates a debate over how design, together with technology, can play a fundamental role in tracing the path from "before" to "after" COVID-19, drawing the image of the new world we want to live in and take care.

Lahofer Winery | CHYBIK + KRISTOF ARCHITECTS & URBAN DESIGNERS
CHYBIK + KRISTOF ARCHITECTS & URBAN DESIGNERS have completed construction of the Lahofer Winery in the Czech Republic.

Nestled in the Moravian countryside, the design of the Lahofer Winery brings together a longstanding wine tradition and contemporary wine-making processes. Housing a visitor center, tasting room and production facilities, the structure immerses itself in the landscape, achieving a subtle symbiosis with the surrounding vines.

Emulating archetypal wine cellars of the region, the vault of the winery rests on a grid of arched beams. Acting as a mirror of this shape, an undulant roof serves as an amphitheater for cultural events open to both locals and visitors, merging the winery into the ground – and the culture – on which it rests.
