Daimaru Museum ¡ÈAnimage and Ghibli Exhibition¡É
Discover the enchanting world of anime at the Daimaru Museum with the "Animage and Ghibli Exhibition," taking place from January 5th (Friday) to January 21st (Sunday), 2024.

This exhibition delves into the fascinating period from the inception of the magazine "Animage" (Tokuma Shoten) in 1978 to the 1980s, a time when anime underwent a remarkable transformation. "Animage" played a pivotal role as Japan's first commercial anime magazine, bridging the gap between fans and creators. Witness the anime boom of the 1980s, fueled by the unprecedented success of Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979. The exhibition traces the journey of Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki, exploring his discovery of directors Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki, leading to the creation of iconic films such as "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" and "Laputa: Castle in the Sky."

Fukuda Art Museum ¡ÈAttack on Master Seiho Takeuchi and his disciples¡É
