ARCHIDEX 2025 Overview
The event will be held at two iconic venues: MITEC from July 21 to 24 and KLCC from July 23 to 26. Over 56,000 visitors from 110 countries are expected, with more than 850 exhibitors spread across 36,700 square meters of exhibition space. This edition emphasizes sustainable urbanisation and global collaboration in designing future cities.
MITEC Highlights
At MITEC, ARCHIDEX 2025 will host FENESTEX—a specialized exhibition on windows, doors, glass, and façade innovations. Additional highlights include the DATUM Conferences and ARCHITALENT, a regional design competition for architecture students. The latest in lighting technologies and building materials will also be showcased.
KLCC Highlights
KLCC will feature national pavilions from Austria, China, Korea, Singapore, and Canada. A major attraction will be ASEAN’s first real-life workplace simulation, “WoW (World of Works),” with exhibitions focused on smart buildings, adaptive interiors, and sustainable urban lifestyles.

AREC 2025
AREC 2025, also held at KLCC, will offer a robust program including forums on affordable housing and resilient infrastructure, business matching sessions, and exhibitions on transformative urban solutions. A new initiative, KL Architecture Week (KLAW 2025), will expand ARCHIDEX beyond the venue into the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Centered on Old Kuala Lumpur and Jalan Petaling, KLAW will feature exhibitions, heritage tours, and urban activations open to both professionals and the public.

Adjunct Prof. Ar. Adrianta Aziz, President of the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM), emphasized that ARCHIDEX is a key platform for architectural advancement, innovation, and exchange. He also stressed the importance of nurturing emerging talent through initiatives like ARCHITALENT.
