The "Dezeen Awards 2025," organized by the internationally acclaimed architecture and design platform Dezeen, is now accepting entries. The deadline for applications is 5th June 2025. Dezeen Awards recognizes outstanding achievements in the fields of architecture, interiors, product design, sustainability, and media. Open to professionals across the globe, the competition welcomes submissions from individuals, studios, and companies of all sizes. This year again, Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) is supporting the awards as a media partner.

Categories

The 2025 edition features five major categories:


Architecture: including residential, commercial, cultural, and public buildings
Interiors: including domestic, commercial, and institutional interior design
Design: including furniture, lighting, consumer products, and digital innovations
Sustainability: including projects and initiatives with environmental and social impact
Media: including installations, documentaries, short films, and other creative works relating to architecture and design


Each main category contains multiple subcategories, allowing participants to select the most appropriate genre for their submission.

Jury

Entries will be judged by a panel of internationally renowned architects, interior designers, artists, creative directors, and journalists. Past jury members have included notable figures such as Bjarke Ingels (BIG), Nanda Vigo, and Sou Fujimoto.

Evaluation is based on the following key criteria:

Benefit to users and the planet


Beyond visual impact, the awards emphasize meaningful contributions to society and the environment.

How to Enter

Entries must be submitted via the official Dezeen Awards website. Applicants are required to create an account, complete an online form, upload images or supporting materials, and pay the entry fee. Projects can be entered in multiple categories if relevant.

A discounted "early entry" rate is available until May 18, 2025. The platform offers a user-friendly process, making it accessible even for first-time participants from any part of the world.
